Acquitted –Court has finally acquitted Embakasi East MP Babu Owino over misuse of a firearm in the shooting of Nairobi DJ Felix Orinda or Evolve.
The Magistrate court in Nairobi, on Tuesday August 29, acquitted Owino in a case in which he was charged with misusing his firearm in relation to the shooting of DJ Evolve who is still in bed years later.
Making the ruling, Magistrate Bernard Ochoi, said the prosecution did a shoddy job as no evidence was produced to prove the shooting.
Dj Evolve and parents had earlier abandoned the case after the accused Owino started supporting the DJ with claims that he had also bought a home for him.
