Examinations –Lewis Otieno Omondi and Fwaro Makokha Robinson were the leading candidates nationally in the 2022 Kenya Certificate for Primary Education KCPE after each garnered 431.
The duo, from separate schools in Western Kenya, emerged top in the 2022 national examinations after scoring Grade A in all the five subjects as examined by the Kenya National Examinations Council.
Lewis attended St. Peters Mumias Boys Primary School in Kakamega County, while on the other hand, Fwaro attended Christ the King Primary School in the neighboring Bungoma County.
In the harmonized KCPE 2022 results released today Wednesday December 21, the pupils who scored between 400 and 431 Marks were 9,443.
Furthermore, the Ministry of Education announced that those who managed to garner between 300 and 399 marks were 307,756 pupils.
Moreover, 619,593 students scored between 200 and 299 marks as 296,336 candidates managed to score between 100 and 199 marks.
The confirmed Ministry report also confirmed that a total of 724 pupils scored between 1 and 99 marks.
