Success -Popular Reggae host Mwangi Kithinji or Mbusi of Radio Jambo is a proud form four leaver who never bothered picking his High School certificate.

On his sit down interview with Jalang’o of Jalang’oi Tv, the reggae presenter noted that he managed to go upto the high school level but after finishing classes he did not want to go and pick the certificate.

He added that despite the president ordering schools to release any withheld certificate due to fee arrears, for him he couldn’t see the sense of picking his because since his childhood he has depended fully on talent – acting and voicing.

President Uhuru Kenyatta(left) with Mbusi on a radio show.

“I was thinking to go pick my high school certificate when the president ordered that they be released even for students with arrears, but how will those results ever help me?” said Mbusi adding that his talent is what he believes in and not education.

The presenter started his radio career on Ghetto Radio where he was a messenger doubling up as a traffic news Reporter before he was elevated to a fully fledged reggae show presenter.

He would later be poached by Radio Jambo where he teamed up with Lion to propel their brand Mbusi na Lion Teketeke show to greater heights.
