Jobs -Renowned Tv reporter Dorcas Wangira has ditched Citizen Tv for British Broadcasting Corporation BBC Africa.
A letter seen by the media shows that the astute human interest feature reporter Wangira had been hired by the international media following her sterling performance in her past assignments.
Making the confirmation, BBC Africa Health Editor Anne Mawathe said they were glad to be joined by the talented and hardworking reporter.
“I am inviting you to join me in congratulating Dorcas Wangira to the health team.”
“She will now be part of the team telling the health story in the continent. Were it not for the pandemic, there would be cake. But well, here we are. Welcome, Dorcas Wangira. The health team is happy to have you with us,” read part of the letter.
Ms Wangira is alumni of St Marys Hill Girls High School in Kiambu County where she studied from 2004 to 2007 before enrolling at Moi University where she pursued a Degree in Communication and Public Relations in 2013.
She later joined standard Group in an internship position where she worked for 11 months before she wasa absorbed due to her hard work. However, the reporter then decided to switch camps to Citizen Tv where she has been based until her job with the BBC.
