Power Supply –There will be a 12-hour system interruption token purchasing from Kenya Power KPLC on Friday.
On Thursday, March 30, Kenya Power KPL announced to their customers that they should prepare for the interruptions due to system maintenance particularly affecting the purchase of tokens.
The utility firm defended that system maintenance is inevitable and would start on Friday, March 31, from midnight to Saturday, April 1, at 11 AM.
Additionally, KPL stated that this maintenance will also be affecting the checking of token details among them balance.
“We wish to inform you that we will carry out system maintenance. As a result, the purchase of prepaid tokens and checking of token details via “977# and my Power App will be unavailable,” partly read the Notice.
During rainy seasons, Kenya Power company experiences several mechanical problems with power frequent outages in both residential as well as commercial areas.
