Konza City Announces Tech Jobs for Students

Tech -Students in Kenya have a reason to smile following blogging job opportunities announced by government.

According to Homenews.co.ke, the opportunity Dubbed #GirlsInICTKe blogging challenge, was purely designed by Konza Technopolis Development Authority in conjunction with ICT Ministry – Innovation and Youth Affairs. Also Women in Technology Huawei are involved.

The ministry’s Cabinet Secretary in-charge of broadcast and telecommunication Ms Maureen Mbaka said this will help equip girls with necessary internet skills that could help most of them launch their multi-million online careers.

Targeting girls in colleges and campus, the activity will focus on the usage of blogging tools like WordPress, Blogger, Tumblr etc to guide the challenge.

Interested participants are required to submit their blogs between September 27, 2021 and October 11. All applications will be received through their website konza.go.ke/online-blogging-challenge-for-girls.

Applicants will also be required to fill in their personal particulars, identification as well as their blog details.

“To all the participants, I am rooting for you. I encourage you to make the most out of this program through tapping into the knowledge and nuggets of wisdom that the trainers and judges will share throughout the project,” the CAS noted.
