Crime -Justice Grace Nzioka finally delivered judgment in the case where Joseph Irungu alias Jowie and former TV news anchor Jacque Maribe are charged with the murder of Monica Kimani.
Monica, 28-years-old then, was murdered in her Lamuria Garden apartment in the Kilimani area, on September 19, 2018.
The High Court found Jowie guilty of the murder of Monica Kimani.
“It is the finding of this court the first accused person murdered Monica Kimani. I find the first accused person guilty as charged”.
The judgment was initially set to be issued on October 6, 2023, but was deferred after Lady Justice Grace Nzioka was reported to be ill.
