Tech News –iPhone Street Kenya management has released a statement on the fake phones on sale in their shops.
In a long statement after claims by a section of customers that the firm was selling refurbished products as brand-new devices, CEO Mr. Charles Kanyi Njagua or Jaguar now says he will personally follow up the matter so that to resolve the concerns amicably.
Jaguar, while taking full responsibility, said though the claims some could be true, he will be making drastic changes on the customer care desk.
“I commit to put in place a new customer service team for clear product information and dispute resolution to mitigate any issues moving forward,” said Jaguar.
This is after he was claimed to have devised means to lure unsuspecting urban youths through influential celebrities and city influencers.
“As the director of iPhone Street Kenya, it is quite unfortunate that some of our clients have experienced dissatisfaction. I have taken a personal initiative and take full responsibility on what happened,” the CEO assured.
Moreover, the tech company will be setting up a dedicated 24-hour hotline services meant to help address customer concerns in time.
“As a company grows, it can only be measured by the ability to accept criticism, both positive and negative. We’ve contacted the affected clients to come up with the best solution that guarantees their satisfaction,” Jaguar further stated.
The company also addressed the concerns regarding remote locking software placed on the iPhones to prevent users who default in payments from using the device. They said that the software aims at protecting the customer and the business.
Jaguar is a renowned singer and politician with an active recording studio by the name Main Switch Production, a fleet of cars for hire as well as iPhone Company all which operate within Nairobi City.
He served as Starehe Member of Parliaments MP for one term, lost in last year’s general elections before he was, in March this year, nominated as Chief Cabinet Secretary CAS in William Ruto’s government.
