Crash –Chief of Defence Forces Francis Ogolla has died.
A chopper which crashed down today Thursday April 18 in Cheptulel area West Pokot left five persons dead and other three with critical injuries. Among them is Gen Francis Ogolla who died.
The Kenya Defence Forces chopper filled with KDF officers caught fire immediately after crashing down with reports confirming that it was involved in the accident while taking off from Cheptulel Secondary School.
The officers had just left a meeting which had been convened to deliberate on the security situation in West Pokot.
