Career –Francis Ogolla widow Aileen Ogolla has resigned from her position in the military just three weeks after burial.
The widow left being in the Military Wives Association of Kenya MWAK to pave way for her successor Grace Kahariri after Ogolla died on April 19.
This handover ceremony was held in Nairobi where she handed over the coveted role to Grace Kahariri, the spouse to the current Chief of Defence CDF Charles Muriu Kahariri.
During the succession ceremony, it was explained that MWAK leadership borrows heavily from the KDF structure.
This, therefore, means the MWAK’s top leadership follows exactly the roots of the military according to the President William Ruto’s new shakeups.
Mr. Ogolla perished in a chopper crash.
