Stories -Alice Achieng has claimed that she unfairly lost her job while servicing her bank loan she had secured to put up houses.
She served at the United Nations for 19 years during which time she had acquired some wealth she estimates to be within sh 100 million.
Alice largely invested in real estate and a total of six parcels of land some which she used part of the loan to buy. She would, by bad luck, lose her job along the way.
She had a house worth sh 54 million, 3 luxury cars and over six plots plus many other properties. But due the loan, she later lost the Runda Estate mansion worth sh 54 million to auctioneers. This was after she had already paid sh 50 Million leaving a an outstanding balance of only sh 4 million.
“I’m sleeping hungry and dying slowly, because of depression. Please Help Me,” pleaded Alice while talking to the media.
Achieng has urged well-wishers to step in and help rescue her from this depression since its ‘killing her slowly’.
